JEA Annual Meeting, Election Scheduled
The annual election of new board members to the board of directors of the Jewish Educational Association and election of officers will be held on Sunday, May 21, 1972 at 8 p.m. in the Domont Auditorium of the J.E.A. The following slate will be presented: To serve for a three-year term on the board: Marvin T.
Bornstein, Earl Newman, Dr. Marion E. Hodes, Fred Frisch, D r. Harvey Feigenbaum, Gerald Kraft, Donald Katz, Ezra Friedlander. To serve a two-year term to fill a vacancy: Dr. Stephen Bailie. Michael Tavel To Be Bar Mitzvah Michael Anthony Tavel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton H. Pianist Pressler Symphony Soloist Subscription concerts for the 42nd season of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will conclude this week with the renowned Palestinian pianist Menahem Pressler as guest soloist with Izler Solomon at the
Murat Theatre.
Pressler, who last appeared with the Indianapolis Symphony in March of 1965 performing Chopin’s Concerto No. 1 in E minor, has been a professor on the faculty of the School of Music at Indiana University since his “retirement” from the concert scene in 1955. Dies Monday
Abe M. Kulwin, 78, president of the Kulwin Electric Supply Co., died Monday in St. Vincent Hospital. Services were held Wednesday with burial in Beth E1 - Z e d e c k Memorial Park
Cemetery.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, he was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Beth El-Zedeck congregation. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Thelma Kulwin; a daughter, Mrs. Sig Seiger, of Glencoe, 111., and a son, Herbert Kulwin, of Indianapolis.

Mrs. Fleischmann Dies In Her Home Mrs. Helen Fleischmann, 81, died last Tuesday in her home at 6833 Oakwood Trail, South Drive. She was a native of Springfield, Ohio, and had lived in Indianapolis 75 years. She was a member of Beth-El Zedeck Congregation, the Golden Age Group and the Order of the Eastern Star. Services were held Thursday in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary. Burial was in Ohev-Zedeck Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lena Weiss of Indianapolis.
