United Orthodox Hebrew Congregation will start selling seats on Friday, Aug. 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day except Saturday. A treat awaits this year’s High Holiday Shul goers. Cantor David Eisenbach of Chicago will chant Bal Musaf and Cantor Israel Israelov will chant Bal Sharich. This will be a beautiful service and quite outstanding for Indianapolis. Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation was the setting for the marriage of Mrs. Louis C.
Miss Helene Entin Weds G. D. Kalyn Mrs. Oscar L. Entin has announced the marriage of her daughter Helene Frances to Gary D. Kalyn. The ceremony took place on Sunday Aug. 18 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Fishbein, former residents of Indianapolis. The newly married couple will reside in Tucson, Ariz., where Mr. Kalyn is completing his internship in pharmacy at Arizona State University. Mr. Kalyn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold H.
Kalyn of Los Angeles.
Wolf, 6199 Spring Mill Road, and Robert G. Sachs of Chicago. After a trip to Vienna, Austria and London, England, Mr. and Mrs. Sachs will reside in Chicago where Mr. Sachs is a professor of physics at the
University of Chicago.
Mrs. Sachs is the widow of Louis C. Wolf, who was killed in an airplane crash in Alaska last August. Mr. Wolf was the President of H.P. Wasson and Co. at the time of his death. ^Indiana Jewish Pest
On Saturday, Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. the B’nai B’rith Lodge No. 58 of Indianapolis will be host to 75 children from Lutherwood Center for Emotionally Disturbed children and the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors home for children of broken homes or orphaned
children.
The children will be treated to lunch and an afternoon of free rides and refreshments at the Indiana State Fair. This project is part of the Lodge’s “Deed of the Month” program, in whch the B’nai B’rith Lodge 58 sponsors a Community “Good Deed”. General Chairman for this Committee is Mr. S. Shep
