The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Sloan Kennedy of this city, chose an ivory satin gown fashioned with a modified off-the-shoul-der neckline and long tapered sleeves, both edged with seed pearls and brilliants. The fitted bodice topped a bouffant skirt ending in a train. She wore a floor-length lace veil, a family heirloom, and carried a cascade of white gladioli flowerets, stephanotis and valley lilies.
