EVERYBODY’S TALKIN’—

'Woman to Woman is the story J *7

Even if you don’t know him personally, we’re sure you’ve seen him everywhere. At every dance, every game, every meeting every concert that comes to town, escorted by his ladies, with The Recorders' Poloroid camera, and always poppin’ his fingers; It’s the one and only Landrum E. Shields Jr. The Recorder was Just saying that since the Teen Talk was so popular years ago, it’s about time for some new and youthful ideas. With a proud image Landrum Jr. walks straight in with a brlllant idea for black students to all become involved. He call it “Black Student Involvement”, a column that is open to all responsive students. But everybody In the Recorder office really wanted to find out what he had in mind to achieve through this open article.

LANDRUM E. &IELDS JR.

“My daddy told me not to tell people all my ideas, and I will always remember that” says the teen editor. And it is obvious that this theory has been very sucessful.

Working along with the teen page editor are some together people. Collette LaRue win interview local and professional speakers, singers, groups and bands, plus be on the concert watch. Joe Davis has taken the Job of tackellng news, gossip, pictures, or which ever comes to his ears, such as teen talk. Jennifer Cobb will consider all poems that you have written and what to show off. While Kim Starms does a few shows he will given you the best of the Sounds of the City and new ones coming, LaVon Puckett has his eyes open for both men and women fashions. Geoffery Gaither will make his presentations appealing to you. There’s always a time from small jokes and the Rita—Andy Giggle Gang will have you blown out of your skin. Eugene Strader will do sport features. For the party scene check out 1 “Party People.” “For Young Minds Only” will make you LIVE AGAIN...

LOS ANGELES— People are asking who is the 1 male voice singing with Syreeta on the “I Wanna Be By Your Side** cut of the “Stevie Wonder Presenof the *‘Stevie Wonder Presents Syreeta" album. The voices is none other than G.C. Cameron. G.C. , by no means a no voice Li showbusiness, having sang lead on several hits including “It’s a Shame” by the Spinners, which Wonder and Syreeta pened just happened to be in the studio when Stevie was cutting the tracks for the single and he suggested that G.C. sing the male part. Following the session, Stevie suggested that G.C. join him in the next evening in the studio to record “If You Don't Love Me.** from he “Love Song and Othei; Trade dies* ‘album, which he had just written .and felt it would be perfect for G.C.'s

talent.

After hearing “If You Don't Love Me." I throughly understand what G.C. means when he calls Stevie a perfectionist. G.C. feels honored to have joined the exclusive circle of artist that Stevie has taken the time to prpduce. , “He*s more responsible than anyone for the sucess that Minnie Rlpperton is currently un-. joying," he added. Cameron a personate warm person, who enjoys mingling with his audiences and fans, is a singer with a dyamite voice, and magnetic excitment about him that comes through loud and 'clear on * If You Don't Love Me." ' G.C. id gifted in having det-
