Funeral rites were held for George W. Jones Oct. 27 at the Moore’s Mission Baptist Church with his pastor, Rev. A T. Kendrick officiating. Burial was in Cave Springs Cemetery with Babbage Funeral Home in charge Mr. Jones, a local business man, and civic leader, died Oct. 23 at Veterans Hospital, Nashville, following an illness of several weeks.
