Everett Green, soloist, sang “Ths Wedding Prayer” and “Because.” Miss Carolyn Swanigan served as maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Bettie Hatcher and Miss Theodora Amos. They wore ligfit blue sheer featuring a scoop neckline, fitted bodice with short Sleeves and a detachable overskirt with a bow in the front. Miss Swanigan carried a nosegay of blue tinted mums and white ba-bies’-breath accented by white net and white streamers. The attendants carried nosegays of white mums with blue delphinium flowers and blue net and streamers. Little Miss Sabrina Tucker was flower girl wearing blue featuring a scoop neckline. She carried rose petals. Master Jesse Edward Tucker Jr. was ring bearer. Hardmon Williams Jr. served as his brother’s bestman. Ushers were Messrs. Sherman Seagraves, John D. Humphrey, Alphonso Black and Leon Williams. The bridal table, covered with blue net over white taffeta, held a four-tiered “Stairway to Happiness” wedding cake made by Mrs. Harold Robinson. Center-piece was three white candleholders with blue tapers, and swans with lily of the valley. Placecards were bridal matches on which the bride and groom’s names were engraved. Punch was served in crystal gob-
