New York, N. Y. (Special) — For the first time science has found a new healing substance vdth the astonishing ability to shrink hemorrhoids, stop itching, and relieve pain — without surgery. In one hemorrhoid case after another,“very striking improvement” was reported and verified by a doctor’s observations. Pain was„relieved promptly. And, while gently relieving pain, actual reduction or retraction (shrinking) took place. And most amazing of all — this improvement was maintained in cases where a doctor’s observations were continued over a period of many months! In fact, results were so thortrugh that sufferers were able to make such astonishing state-

ments as "Piles have ceased to ha a problem!" And among theoo sufferers were a very wide variety of hemorrhoid conditiona, some of 10 to 20 years’ StandingAll this, without the use of narcotics, anesthetics or astringents of any kind. The Eastern Chapel as shown above is not an institution run nor owned by any other Mortuary. It is owned and controlled by a group of both white and colored. This is the first integrated institution of it 7 s kind in the city or state. y We have been discussing and fighting for integration for years, now we have it, not in words but in reality. We as a people must wake up to the fact that the time has come and now is that we must in some way match the other man's dollar, if not one hundred per cent, at least twenty five per cent before We con get the recognition we so desire. This institution gives to every citizen an opportunity to put integration to work. We extend to every citizen Greetings for the New Year. Mark Bailies, President; Oscar O. Grundy, General Manager; Rev. David B. Dudley, First Vice President and Public Relations; , t Joseph Malodf, Secretary-Treasurer.
