NOTHING^ JTOTS THE U. S. MAIL SHERifiAN, Wyo. (ANP) — Joe Lupezovetz has a practical illustration of the truth of the slogan of the Mail Service, which states, in effect: that neither rain sleet nor hail can stop _ of the United States Mail, week Joe received a postcard frim his cousin, John L. Lupezovetz, mailed to him from Coalmont, Colo; v Buti the odd twist was that his cousin John has been dead for a number of years and the postmark showed the card had been mailed in July 1, 1912 — NEARLY 49 YEARS AGO.

HERE'S A STRANGE SIGHT: Looks like these troopers, mOre easily recognizable when hiking across countrysides or mountain tops, have traded places with our Indianapolis firemen. The reason is because these members of Troop No. 43 are on their way to their regular meeting in Fire House No. 1, 1445 W. Michigan. Troop No. 43 is the only Central Indiana Council troop sponsored by a fire station. Shown bumming a ride are (left to right) Ronald Johnson, 649 Locke; Charles Al‘en, 504 Blackburn; Charles Johnson, 649 Locke; Edward Clay, 540 Douglass and Assistant Scout Master Charles West.
has been treated like any other player, which is exactly the way he wants it. “I’d tike to be singled out only for making a good showing on the ice,” he once re-
marked.
A native of Fredericton, New Brunswick, the 25-year-old O’Ree got his big break this past season When the Bruins called him up from Kingston, Ont, of the Eastern Pro League. However, he had played two games with the Bruins three years ago. O’Ree was, traded to the Canadiens along with Stanley Maxwell for minor leaguers Cliff Pennington and Terry Gray.

it a helluva try.
The 880 relay was won by Muncie Central’s squad of Bill McCormick. Rusty Ross, John Jihnson and Tom Johnson. Second was Tech, represented
