.MUSICIANS ANp ENTERTAINERS:
In my unavoidable absence. ! wish to thank all of you for coining out to the inLial meeting of the United Entertainers Club. Inc. To those who are already members and those who are not. I sincerly hope this ten point .plan will clear up any doubts, or questions in your mind as to the need and purpose' of ’ this organization. The club is yet young, and I anticipate a great deal of mistakes, but what infant doen’t fall a few times before taking his first steps. Even in its infancy 1 can visualize the great part that the club will play in the career and lives of all musicians and entertainers of this ever increasing city of Indianapolis. Consequently. I feel that under •he directorship o£ our most capable president (Leo Lesser. Jr.» United Entertainers Club will continue to grow and the vast number of problems and prejudices that confront us in entertainment field and who knows them better than vve» will eventually be solved, i None of this could, or can e\er be accomplished without the complete cooperation of the club, excluding no-one; leaders, and mem-
ners.
The response from the public, and leading personalities in the I music field has definitely shown their approval of the uholg idea. With all these things in nvnri, 1 say an organization of this type is long over-due cn the scene, and now that it has materialized let us ill strive to make it a tremendous suceess. Again 1 thank you for your interest, j Entertainingly yours. Willis Kirk. Jr.. Treasurer.
