Atomic Scientist At Fisk U. Quits On Red Accusation NASHVILLE, Tenn.* (ANP) — Atomic Scientist Rossi Lomanitz, 28. has left his job as an associate professor at Fisk university. Dr. Charles S. Johnson, president, announced this week. Lomanitz had been accused by the house unAmerican committee of being a Communist. Dr. Johnson said that Lomanitz left the campus without submitting a formal resignation. In a hearing before the house committee Lomanitz refused to say whether he was or was not a Communist.

The bridegroom is Roy C. Williams, an interior decorator. The couple is reported to have flowm to Yuma, Ariz., thus culminating a romance that has been in existence for some time. Three years ago Miss McDaniel was divorced from James Craw’ford. She became the first Negro to win an academy award for her role in “Gone With Die Wind.”
