Lieutenant Elliott was in an officers' training camp at Ft. Benjamin Harrison. Indianapolis, last year and won his commiaslon there. September 7.—Spencer Antrobles, living near here, in Franklin township, Pulaski county, has been notified by the war department that his son, Jerome Antrobles, age twenty-eight, was killed in battle in France on August 4 Antrobles j was married and went to the army from his hom® in Montana. Word has also been received here announc- i ing that Edmund Wagner, formerly a sec- j tion foreman on the Chesapeake A Ohio j railroad at Be&rdstown, was killed in action ! In France on August 9. Wagner went to | France as a railway engineer.
