An echo of the recent municipal election was heard In city court today when Joseph King, colored, 912 West Michigan street,-was arraigned on a charge of illegal voting. He was discharged. King was arrested on election day after he had voted In the Third precinct of the Fifth ward, an affidavit signed by James A. Renihan accusing him of not having been a resident of Indianapolis for six months, the time required by law. On the witness stand Renihan testified that King had told him that he moved to this city from Tennessee In July. King denied telling him this and produced witnesses who testified that; he had lived in the city
