The Easter Message Tomorrow the world will commemorate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. The Passion Week, with aU its angruish and suffering and heart break, is past. The crucifixion scene is an appalling illustration of the blindness of men’s minds, the stubborness of men’s heaTls. ; Je^us had brought a new message to the world; a new revelation of truth. They npssed the way of life because they refused to believe this revelation. Because of this new revelation they nailed the Master of Life to the cross. Men are still blindly putting to death the best that is.in them and in the world. But tomorrow is Easter Day. All the glooni, all the disappointment and all the sorrow of the world may be swallowed up in the glory of the resurrection. Easter Day rings with a message of life, love and joy. He who is dead is alive forever more. The world now follows a risen, a living Christ. As Jesus, through the power of life, put away death, so let every man also put away death. This is the time to cast away the old dead self with all its sin and imperfection, y The life of God would flow freely into every recess of man’s soul if left unhindered. The Easter Day is the most fitting day in all the calendar year to open one’s life to Christ and to join the church. Is there a man in Indianapolis who grovels so low in sin as to have no out-reachings toward life and light? Awake from your death, O man, and crowd through all your difficulties to the house of worship tomorrow. The Easter Day is one of emancipation—a day wherein every man may experience freedom of life. There will be room for all of you tomorrow in some church and you will be made welcome. The Church Federation of Indianapolis C. S. Denny, President. Office—Y. M. C. A. Bldg. M. C. Pearson, Executive Secretary.
