Generals Rosseau and Bradley at Omaha—List of Killed and Wounded near McPherson Yesterday— Etc. ST. LOUIS, April 23.—An Omaha dispatch says that Generals Rosseau and Bradley arrived from Pailland [sic], Oregon, en route for Washington. Telegrams from Fort Laramie state that no Indians had yet arrived, and the present indications are that the council will be deferred ten days longer. The following is a list of the killed and wounded near McPherson, yesterday: Killed—John Brown, rifle ball through the head; Gus. Hall, George Kline, Joseph Vest, killed by arrows. Wounded—E. Hoffman, shot in different parts of the body, one arrow through the lungs,and scalped. A boy named Tanney was dangerously wounded with arrows but not scalped. Neither of them is expected to recover. The Indians, to-day, ran off fifty head of beef cattle belonging to John Trim, Government contractor, near McPherson’s.

Indian Ontrages. CHICAGO, Thursday, April 23. A special from Omaha to the <Tribune>, on the 22d, states that a telegram from Fort McPherson, on the south side of the Platte says that the Indians, supposed to be part of Spotted Tail's band, or Cheyennes from the Republican, made a dash upon some men cutting wood in the canon yesterday, killing four and wounding two, who were brought in. The names of the killed are John Brown, Gustavus Hall, George Kline, and Joseph Vent; wounded, E. Hoffman, scalped badly and wounded by an arrow, and a boy named Tonney, aged fourteen, dangerously wounded
but not scalped.
