The Sous of Veterans hold their regular meeting last evening. A committee composed of W. M. White, George Anderson and Waltor Grubb were ap-. pointed to assist the G. A. R. committee on entertainment. The first social will be given on the third Friday of November.

Crowfordsville is to be again blessed with a first class band. It will contain lil teen pieces and they will be played by competent artists. All of" the Doctor's family wore prosont including two sons and one daughter and four grandchildren. After a dinner fit for the palate of a king the doctor was the recipient of a number of nioe pros ents.
